Simple application from labs : PAN CAMERA MOUNT using PHOTORESISTOR ( LIGHT DEPENDENT RESISTOR )

This project was fail. I try to do pan and tilt camera mount by using 2 servos but the Potentiometer can’t control one of servo. I have been tried so many time by changing the code ,Potentiometer and servo. it still doesn’t work. I have checked print line for both Potentiometers. They still work very well.

So i changed the plan. I made a pan camera mount using photo resistor to detect the light. here is the result.

For the tone, I made piezo speaker. I used piezo as a sensor to receive pressure.

From what we discussing about design for disabled people. One word that Alex said is envy. At that time i agree what he said but i didn’t agree to use that word. The day after i rethink about that and have a discuss with my friends. She said one think, long time ago Surgery was develop for people who had an accident and disabled people. Now Surgery become a trend and people want to do that because they want to be better. I think this can call Envy. Imagine if one day people can make a super leg that can run very fast and have a maximum power. Will people gonna cut their leg to install the new powerful leg or not? is technologies will become danger if we use it or marketing it in wrong way? That is what we have to remind.

here is some articles that talked about this subject.

***UPDATING***

Finally i can make pan and tilt from 2 servo. The reason why it didn’t work before is
1. I use 2 times delay, Just one time at the end is fine. Thank you Tom!
2. When I put servo into the kit. I have to double check if it can knob in the right way! oh noooooooooo this took me 2 weeks for figuring out!!! thank you Sebastian Morales for always helping me!
